Kerala Lotteries Scheme has 6 bumper lotteries named Xmas New Year Bumper (1st Prize: Rs.12 crore), Summer Bumper (1st Prize: Rs.6 crore), Vishu bumper (1st Prize: Rs.10 crore), Monsoon Bumper (1st Prize: Rs.5 crore), Thiruvonam bumper (1st Prize: Rs.12 crore), and Pooja Bumper (1st Prize: Rs.5 crore). Each bumper possesses a contrasting prize structure. Not only the prize structure but also the cost, series, etc are entirely different.
As compared to the weekly and monthly lotteries, the face value of the bumper ticket is quite large. But the GST (28%) is the same for all the tickets including the bumper. In most of the cases, the bumper comprises 8 levels of prizes but in the Thiruvonam bumper and Xmas new year bumper, 9 levels of the prize are there.
